Journal of Refractive Surgery publishes CXL at the Slit Lamp technique

An important step in enabling ophthalmologists to perform CXL at the slit lamp was achieved this month: the definitive CXL at the slit lamp technique was published in the Journal of Refractive Surgery [1]. This should enable ophthalmologists to perform cross-linking at the slit lamp, as straightforwardly, safely, and effectively as possible.

It is already known that cross-linking at the slit lamp should be as effective as cross-linking performed in the traditional manner with the patient lying supine (UV light and riboflavin aren?t affected by the orientation of the patient [2]), so finally, the new era of cross-linking at the slit lamp has begun.
