Eurotimes, the official magazine of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, recently interviewed Dr. Emilio Torres-Netto of the ELZA Institute in Zurich, Switzerland, about the preliminary results from a Phase III clinical trial of photo-activated chromophore for infectious keratitis-corneal cross-linking (PACK-CXL) for the treatment of infectious corneal infiltrates and early corneal ulcers.

This study was is led by the ELZA Institute in Zurich, Switzerland and conducted jointly with the Centre for Applied Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine at the University of Zurich (Zurich, Switzerland), the Narayana Nethralaya Eye Hospital (Bangalore, India), the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev Sheva (Beer-Sheva, Israel) and the Wenzhou Medical University (Wenzhou, China).
